Windows-based rush model analysis software designed as a tool to promote exploration and communication.

Winsteps implements two methods for estimating Rasch parameters from ordered qualitative observations: Joint Maximum Likelihood Estimation (JMLE) and the Proximal operator method (PROX). It constructs Rasch rating scales from simple rectangular datasets consisting of persons and items. It also supports Conditional Maximum Likelihood Estimation (CMLE). It offers a wide range of features, including 40 types of output tables, scores, scales, errors, and comparisons that aid in visualizing analysis results. It can export measurements, standard errors, and quality control fit statistics to Excel, SPSS, or text files for integration with other files, as well as perform principal component analysis of residuals for the multidimensionality of persons or items.
